Waiwai o Wailuku Talk Story Dinner

Wailuku IS waiwai (precious, valuable) and we want you to join us in celebrating and talking about wai (water), one of our most precious resources.

Hele down to the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center (a.k.a Wailuku Community Center) on Thursday, July 14th from 5:30p - 7:30p for ‘ONO food, great music and an opportunity to share your mana‘o and ideas to protect, maintain and ensure the health and continued presence of our wai. By water, all things find life.

A donation of $10 per ticket for wai-inspired mea‘ai (food) is suggested and tickets can be purchased online or at the door. (Doors open at 5p with pule and dinner at 5:30p.)

51st Annual Makawao Rodeo Parade

Head up to Makawao town to experience one of Mauiʻs cherished traditions.

The 51st Annual Makawao Rodeo Parade will be kicking off at 9am on Saturday, July 2nd. The yearʻs theme is "Honoring Our Heritage" and we plan on doing just that as we march in the parade with ohana (family) and hoaaloha (friends).

Come for the parade and stay for the rodeo!

The first in a series of coffee talk/talk story events across our County, finds us gathering in a little oasis behind San Lorenzo Bikini just off Hāna Hwy in Pā‘ia. Hereʻs your first opportunity to sit down in a more intimate setting and hear Trinetteʻs ideas and share your thoughts, concerns and hopes for our Maui.

We will have light refreshments available for free with the option to purchase additional items from the cafe menu.
